Ready for a true mountain rush?

This exclusive tour takes you straight to the most epic section of the entire Stoneman Dolomiti – guided by the one and only “Mister Stoneman” himself: Roland Stauder. Exposed trail, breathtaking panoramas and technical riding await!
We start at 10:00 AM from the Bike Academy Sextner Dolomiten. A quick warm-up leads us to the Helm cable car station, then we cruise up to the top of the mountain in comfort.
From here, the real adventure begins. First up: the Hahnspielhütte (2,150 m), followed by a scenic ride to the Sillianer Hütte (2,450 m). After a quick coffee, things get serious…
Below the Hornischeck (2,500 m), we hit full trail mode – with massive views over the Three Peaks, the Sexten Dolomites, and all the way to the Großglockner.
Then comes the highlight: the Demuthpassage – 7 km of narrow, technical alpine trail (S2–S3) with carrying and pushing sections depending on your skills. Don’t worry – Roland’s got your back and will guide you through every tricky part.
At "Kleinkarl" we dive into the legendary Villpoan Trail – a spectacular descent down to the Nemesalm (1,877 m), where cold drinks and a well-earned hut break await.
The grand finale? A flowy descent on the second part of the Erla Trail, ending with a smooth roll back on the Sexten loop to the Bike Academy Sextner Dolomiten .

History, thrills & trail action in the Sesto Dolomites

Get ready for an unforgettable bike adventure on historic paths! This tour takes you high above the valley floor – along old military roads, through peaceful valleys, and over exciting trails in the heart of the Dolomites.

What to expect:

We start directly at the Bike Academy Sextner Dolomiten. A comfortable shuttle takes us to Dobbiaco, where the real adventure begins.

We enter the quiet and wild Silvestro Valley and follow an old military road from World War I, winding its way up in scenic switchbacks to the Marchkinkele summit at 2,550 m. The view is simply epic: Tre Cime, the Sesto Dolomites, and Austria’s glaciated peaks all around!

From here, the fun continues with a challenging trail descent to the Steinbergalm – technical, exciting, unforgettable. Then we roll into the Silvestroalm, where a well-deserved South Tyrolean lunch break awaits.

Refueled, we flow down a beautiful trail back into the valley and to Dobbiaco, where our shuttle brings us comfortably back to the Bike Academy Sextner Dolomiten .

Our E-Bike tour follows the old railway line through the romantic Höhlenstein Valley – all the way to the future Olympic city of 2026: Cortina d’Ampezzo.

From there, we hop on the E-Bike and glide along the old railway track, passing the turquoise Dürrensee and enjoying breathtaking views of the iconic Three Peaks.

“Trail Highlight in the Dolomites of Sesto”

We show you the best trails!

We start at the Bike Academy Sextner and we go up with the cable car to Monte Elmo (2,040) and at the mountain station, we take the path to Rifugio Gallo Cedrone (2,150) and further to Rifugio Sillianer (2,447). At Rifugio Sillianer we enjoy the fantastic 360° view on the Dolomites of Sesto and the glaciers in Austria. From here, the trail continues up to Monte Arnese. We continue right along the “Monte Elmo Trail” to “Negerdorf”. 800 metres of fantastic trail fun with spectacular views of the Dolomites of Sesto. We go over the “Molini Trail” to the Trojer farms (1,550) and from there, we continue to the valley station of “Tre Cime di Lavaredo cable car”. We make a little break at “Rifugio Pollaio” and then we go up to “Orto del Toro” (2,040). From there, we continue to Malga Klammbach (1,944) for lunch, because South Tyrolean dumplings and Kaiserschmarren are already waiting for us. Then it goes over the "Klammbach Trail" (insider tip) to the valley station of the “Tre Cime di Laverdo cable car”.We take the “Tre Cime di Laverdo cable car” again to “Orto del Toro” (2,040) and along the new “Erla Trail” we go back to the valley station of “Tre Cime di Laverdo cable car”, then along the Sesto circular path, passing “Pollaio Hut” to the valley station of “Prati di Croda Rossa” funicular (1,350).We go up with the funicular to Prati di Croda Rossa (1,900) and take the “Schellab Trail”. This is a pure flow trail for around 5 km until the valley station of Croda Rossa funicular.

Again we go up with the funicular to Prati di Croda Rossa and take the “Croda Rossa Trail” (technical trail) to the valley station Prati di Croda Rossa cablecar. Before we return , we go to “Gästhäusl Putschall” and Fred, our bike-guide, serves us a fresh, cold beer. Then we return to the starting point Bike Academy Sextner Dolomiten .

We start at the Bike Academy Sextner Dolomiten and tackle the first 4 km on a forest road to the Rotwandwiesen (1,950 m). From there, we cruise over the Schellab-Alm down to the Kreuzbergpass, where trail No. 146 takes us to the picturesque Coltrondoalm (1,880 m).

But the ride doesn't stop there! We continue on past the Nemesalm Hut to the Klammbachalm (1,950 m), where a stunning view of the Three Peaks awaits – along with local specialties served by host Hannes on the sunny terrace.

We return to Sexten via the flowy Erla Trail, or – for a more relaxed descent – along the forest road. A picture-perfect day.

“Practice makes perfect” – and we make it fun!

Join our Learn & Ride session and take your skills to the next level. We kick things off with a focused 2-hour training session in our brand-new training park at Signaue, right at the base of the cable car "Drei Zinnen" There, you'll learn the essentials of safe and confident trail riding: braking technique, body position, uphill riding, cornering and how to handle obstacles.
Once you’ve got the basics down, it’s time to hit the trails!
Together with our certified bike guides, who know every hidden line around the Sexten valley, we’ll head out for a scenic tour where you can put your new skills to the test – step by step, with helpful tips along the way.
And of course: we’ll stop for a chill lunch at one of the local huts – with a hearty snack and a cold beer in hand. 🍻
