From Welsberg through the Gsieser Valley to Grüblscharte and down to Antholz

This exclusive tour takes you along historic military roads from World War II through the idyllic Gsieser Valley up to the impressive Grüblscharte at 2,400 m altitude. The climb is mostly rideable with an E-MTB; only the last 300 meters require a short push or carry section. At the top, you'll be rewarded with a breathtaking 360° panorama of the Dolomites and the Rieserferner mountains.
The descent into the Antholz Valley is technically demanding and offers over 1,400 vertical meters of pure singletrail fun – a real highlight for experienced bikers.

👣 Tour Schedule
- 08:00 AM: Meet at the Bikeacademy in Sexten, bike check and shuttle to Welsberg.
- 09:00 AM: Start of the tour through the Gsieser Valley, past alpine pastures and larch forests.
- 11:30 AM: Arrival at Grüblscharte, short break with panoramic views.
- 12:00 PM: Start of the descent into Antholz on demanding singletrails.
- 02:30 PM: Arrival in Antholz, trail finish and return ride through the valley to Welsberg.
- 03:30 PM: Arrival in Welsberg – shuttle is ready and waiting.
- 04:00 PM: Return to Sexten by shuttle.
💡 Technical Requirements
- Riding skills: Confident control of S2–S3 trails required.
- Fitness: Good basic fitness necessary, E-MTB highly recommended.
- Equipment: Enduro bike or E-MTB with sufficient battery capacity.
